What is Dermal Filler? (Facial Filler)

Best Candidate:
Individuals looking to enhance their facial features or address volume loss. Ideal candidates should be in good health, have realistic expectations, and not have any contraindications, such as allergies to the filler materials or active skin infections in the treatment area.
Contraindications:

- Allergies to hyaluronic acid or other filler components
- Active infections or inflammation in the treatment area
- Use of Retinol/Retin-A topically (within 2 weeks prior)
- Use of depilatory creams (within 2 weeks prior)
- Recent laser or IPL treatments (within 2 weeks prior)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Current or past cancer (within the last year)
- Heart problems, diseases, or presence of a pacemaker
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Uncontrolled diabetes
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Lupus
- Kidney or liver damage or diseases
- Currently or in the past year been on Accutane
